Our training is unparalleled and carries strict certification standards, ensuring quality service at all times. With a proactive approach, discreet or public presence, our certified K-9 teams alert the presence of narcotics and deadly explosives, thus alleviating the chance for disaster to strike.

Explosives/Weapons Alert

Our canines are trained to alert their handler to the presence of more than a dozen odors associated with bombs. The handlers are trained to be constantly observant of the canine’s behavior and the handler will know immediately when the K-9 encounters one of the odors it is trained to alert on. The dog will show a change that is consistent with the change in behavior he has shown in the initial and maintenance training of odor alert training. The handler will allow the canine to investigate the odor until the canine is satisfied that he is as close to the source of the odor as he is trained to go. The K-9 will give it’s final alert to the handler, which is to sit facing the direction of the source of the odor. At this point, the K-9’s work is finished. The handler will react to the standard operating procedures set forth during training.
