Executive Protection Dogs

(Above) Bo, an executive protection dog trained and sold by Wynne K-9, is pictured with his owner. This dog is affectionate and controllable but when the need arises is no none sense and will give his life for his family.

We live in a society that is plagued by immorality. Unfortunately, criminal activity and violence are at an all time high. There are a myriad number of people living in fear. Today, a lot of people’s solution in dealing with fear involves a gun. However, not everyone feels comfortable handling or shooting a gun.

Also, having experience from working in urban environments, we at Wynne K-9 realize that a lot of individuals that are maimed or even worse, have weapons on their person.  Criminals are professionals at the activities that they choose to indulge in.  On the other hand, a respected citizen of a community a lot of times has the slightest idea of what a person of ill intent preys on and how they themselves are vulnerable. With this being said, we are not in any way saying that a person should not arm or protect himself or family. By all means, do so without hesitation. However, we will say that having a properly trained protection dog can make a tremendous mark in deterring crime from coming to you or yours.  We tell people all the time that in an altercation our gun can be taken and utilized against us; however, an individual will have an extremely difficult time trying to make your dog bite you.

The market is also becoming saturated with kennels and K-9 businesses advertising and selling dogs as personal protection and executive protection dogs.  However, the quality is not there.  Lots of lower drive dogs or perhaps dogs that have flunked from either a sport program or police department are being sold for tens of thousands of dollars or more to people who believe that they are being sold a top-notch protector.  There is no way that we would feel comfortable with one of these dogs protecting our families.  We do not sell dogs that we would not entrust to protect our families’  well being.  With that said, we do not keep a multitude of executive protection dogs on hand. If we do not have what you are looking for, we will search long and hard and reach out to our connections to try and satisfy your requests to make sure you receive the best protector and companion for your family.

Wynne K-9, is not breed specific due to the ever increasing influx of mediocre dogs. This makes it difficult to place dogs with enough heart and courage to stop a would be intruder with the most ill intentions. We will not place a dog in your home or possession that we feel is not worthy of staying in a fight with an assailant or sacrificing itself if need be so that you and your family can buy time to escape, seek cover, and notify the proper authorities
